midwifery and doula education in North America. For
25 years, SMS has demonstrated its commitment to
empowering women and their families through
informed choice and the continued creation of

their inception, they have trained more than 185
midwives and 2,500 doulas and childbirth educators.

in the Library for the general public. Located in
the lower level of the Kress building, in downtown
Ballard. It is open every afternoon but Monday.
