Someday Farm is located about one hour from Seattle on beautiful Whidbey Island. There is an artsy, self-contained suite for two, campgrounds for many, and a vintage bus converted into a bunkhouse for 10. Professional vegan kitchen, bathrooms, showers and a covered area with stone fireplace are available for weddings or other events. There is an organic garden and lots of farm animals to visit, and rustic trails throughout the 70 acre property.

Cloud Mountain Retreat Center is a non-sectarian Buddhist center hosting residential retreats year round. Cloud Mountain is a rural Spiritual Retreat Center located in Southwest Washington, approximately 125 miles south of Seattle, Washington, and 60 miles north of Portland, Oregon. Situated on 15 wooded acres, Cloud Mountain is a complex of several buildings surrounded by trees and connected by rock-lined paths. There is a large meditation hall, a walking and yoga hall, a sleeping lodge, a teacher's cottage and a lodge that holds the kitchen, dining area, sitting room, staff quarters, office and library, a small lake, an organic garden and greenhouse, a fish pond and resident pets, including cats and goldfish. Black-tail deer are frequent visitors.
Camp Indralaya *- 360 Indralaya Rd., Eastsound, WA 98245. 360-376-4526. Indralaya was founded in 1927 by members of the Theosophical Society as a practical experiment in applying theosophical living. These principles continue to form the basis of our philosophy, community life, and programs. The camp encompasses seventy-eight acres of forest, meadows, and trails, situated along three quarters of a mile of coastal shoreline. We share this space with rabbits, deer, owls, mink, squirrels, sea otter, bald eagles, and other wildlife. The camp offers a wide variety of programs. There is also daily meditation, trail walks, a small bookshop, and a surprisingly well-stocked metaphysical library. Indralaya's menu is and always has been ovo-lacto vegetarian.

Northwest Vipassana Center

One of over 120 international centers where the technique of Vipassana meditation is taught and practiced, the Northwest Vipassana Center, also known as Dhamma Kuñja (meaning Grove of Dhamma), is situated on 50 rural acres near the town of Onalaska, Washington, two hours south of Seattle, and 1.5 hours north of Portland, Oregon. The Center was established in August 1991 to offer training in Vipassana meditation. Ten-day courses are offered every month for new and returning students. Three-day and one-day courses are given for returning students from time to time, as well as programs for children.
